Salary:     £30,205 - £33,126 per annum for 29 hours per week, 4 days a week, Term Time plus 4 weeks.

 (FTE £39,881 - £43,737 per annum- For the right candidate, depending on experience, a maximum FTE salary up to £48,515 pa will be considered)

Hours:     29 hours per week, 4 days a week, Term Time plus 4 weeks (Flexible working will be considered)

Location:     Wyvern House, Uxbridge, UB8 2XN, however occasional travel to other locations may be required

Newly expanded as an academy trust with an Outstanding Ofsted rating, our friendly and successful Therapy team works in partnership with lecturers/teachers and support staff across all our sites.

Students within Orchard Hill College have a wide range of learning abilities and additional needs including complex autism; speech, language and communication difficulties and physical disabilities including multi-sensory impairment and complex health needs.

Pupils within the OHC&AT have a wide range of speech, language and communication difficulties; social, emotional and mental health; learning abilities and additional needs.

We require a Specialist Physiotherapist to join our dynamic multi-disciplinary team (including SLTs, OTs and Music Therapists). You will support our students in accessing all aspects of the curriculum, as well as liaising with parents/carers and other external professionals and agencies. You will also work very closely with teaching staff, helping to integrate therapy and learning objectives, as well as educating and supporting teaching staff in such aspects as postural management, manual handling, delivering therapy programmes, aquatic therapy and use of specialised equipment. In addition the post will involve delivering training to other staff and provision of aquatic therapy. The post may involve working at any of the College’s centres.
