Vacancy details

The Chartered Society of Physiotherapy seek a Director of Practice and Development

Based in our London office when restrictions lift with homeworking available (subject to meeting homeworking assessment requirements, which includes a minimum broadband speed of 18 Mbps).

A tremendous opportunity to set the direction of the profession given all we have learnt during the COVID pandemic across all sectors and specialities.

We need a registered physiotherapist who has the talent, determination and understanding to help transform the profession to be more diverse and equitable, so that every member of the CSP really feels they belong and can deliver better education, research and care for the population we serve.

A passion for Physiotherapy will not be enough - you’ll also need the leadership skills to be able to translate that passion into clear strategic thinking and planning to inspire and engage the whole profession to play its part.

The CSP is the professional, educational and trade union body for the 60,000 Chartered Physiotherapists, support workers and students in the UK; and one of the largest representative bodies in healthcare. We are proud to have been awarded the 2021 Best Companies One to Watch accreditation.
