Vacancy details

Come and work in Wirral, it’s the place to be.

The Rehabilitation at Home Service has a vacancy for a Band 6 Community Specialists Physiotherapist to join the team. This is a great development opportunity for an experienced Band 5 physiotherapist or an existing Band 6 physiotherapist who is ready for a new challenge. This is a permanent post, however we also have bank or fixed term hours available to cover maternity leave.

Our team of occupational therapists, physiotherapists and technical instructors see people across the Wirral who are best treated in their own homes, the work is varied and interesting and no two days are ever the same. You will provide holistic assessments and be able to follow up patients to enable them to reach their rehabilitation potential. As a Band 6 you will be expected to manage a complex caseload and support more junior staff and students.

The successful candidate will have a wide knowledge base and experience, be enthusiastic, hardworking and possess exceptional communication skills. You will be well supported by the Band 7 therapists and via our robust supervision, training and appraisal structure.

If you don't know much about Wirral, you won’t be disappointed by what the beautiful Wirral peninsula has to offer. This little corner of the UK has a stunning coastline and breath-taking countryside; it has got a bit of everything for people of all ages and is within easy reach to the major cities of Liverpool, Chester and Manchester as well as neighbouring North Wales.

If working in the community excites you and you thinking about a new role or working in a new place, we would love to hear from you.
