We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Band 7 Respiratory Clinical Specialist to join our team at Wexham Park. This role will involve carrying a clinical Respiratory caseload alongside leading a team.
We are looking for a candidate who has a passion for ward based Respiratory to help develop our inpatient service across the medical wards and our MADU beds involving, NIV, Cough Assisting, Tracheostomy management etc. The successful candidate will help teach and develop our Band 5’s and 6’s Respiratory knowledge on their specific rotations but also contribute to the provision of our on-call training and refreshers for the department.
The role will involve linking with the Respiratory Matron, Consultants, Community Respiratory Teams and Cross site colleagues at Frimley Park. This post is supported by a Principal B8a Physiotherapist for Medicine, Head of Physiotherapy, and a Therapies Practice Development lead.
The Physiotherapy service provides a structured Appraisal & Supervision process which actively promotes CPD through extensive internal and external training opportunities inclusive of post graduate certificates, Master's modules and leadership. We are keen to support any applicants who are looking at moving into a Team leader role for the first time and would consider a developmental role for the right candidate.
