The University of Nottingham are seeking to appoint a highly motivated Clinical Lead Physiotherapist to join our team and help to drive forward the Universities ambitious Vision for Sport through providing an outstanding clinical offer to students, staff and the local community. You will lead and manage a team of specialists to enhance the reputation and sustainability of the sports injury clinic and support the performance sport objectives of the University. This position leads in the delivery, development and governance of all services related to the Sports Injury Clinic.
Key responsibilities includes managing and developing the NHS referral contract, providing excellent performance support services to our performance athletes and teams, expanding student and local community services and working closely with the Division of Physiotherapy and Sport Rehabilitation to provide practise education placements. Clinical supervision of both undergraduate and postgraduate students allows you to develop the next generation of clinicians in a unique environment.
To drive the highest quality clinical development, you will have a good understanding of national and local priorities within the clinical field and possess excellent clinical supervisory skills along with a passion for developing people. You will have experience at NHS Band 7 level or above in management of musculoskeletal pathology or equivalent experience in private practice and previous post registration clinical experience is essential. You will be an individual who takes ownership of clinic development, looking for ways to improve service delivery and inspire others to develop and improve in a positive, forward thinking manner.
This post will be offered on a full time, permanent contract.
