An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Community Learning Disability Physiotherapist post working within the North Cumbria Community Learning Disability team. This role is full time and permanent, flexible and currently Monday to Friday only. The post sits within the multidisciplinary teams based in Workington and Carlisle and would cover the whole of the North Cumbria working alongside the Band 7 Specialist Physiotherapist.
A great chance to get experience of working with adults with Learning Disabilities and work within a committed and enthusiastic team.
Experience of working with adults with learning disabilities would be desirable but not essential. If lacking this experience then experience of working within a community setting, or with neuro rehab or paediatrics is essential as skills overlap. Ongoing training and support will be given in specialist Learning disability physio skills.
