Senior Physiotherapist Inpatients Acute ED/ Medical/Surgical Respiratory and Rehabilitation Care
Band 6: Full Time
The Isle of Wight NHS Trust has an opportunity for a Senior Physiotherapist to join the Trust’s Acute In-Patient physiotherapy team, working with patients in ED/MAAU/ Medical/Surgical wards and intensive care.
The Post requires team and independent clinical working as well as good initiative. The post will involve interdisciplinary working as well as new service innovations. The post holder will be expected to be flexible and be willing to support the physiotherapy service across other areas.
The post requires previous NHS Respiratory Physiotherapy experience with a desire to enhance Acute rehabilitation skills as well as contributing towards developing and supervising more junior members of the team. The post holder will be HCPC registered and have relevant previous UK NHS experience within this specialty. The service offers a commitment to ongoing professional development as well as a supportive, friendly network of colleagues.
The department supports students from Southampton University on clinical placement. The Isle of Wight offers a good work/life balance for those interested in nature, culture and many outdoor activities. Traffic congestion is rare.
