Vacancy details

Are you a highly motivated Physiotherapist looking to develop your clinical skill in a static post, lead junior/support staff and contribute to service development.  This specialist post is currently 30 hours with the possibility to increase to fulltime in the future.

As part of the Carlisle Integrated Care Community (ICC). Within Cumbria Partnership Foundation Trust you will work at the heart of holistic patient care offering joint community and acute working on the edge of the Lake District.  The post holder will provide specialist physiotherapy assessment and treatment as part of the Home First Service in the emergency department and emergency assessment unit at the Cumberland Infirmary.

The post holder will work within The Community Rehabilitation Service which is an innovative and forward thinking team at the heart of holistic patient care with a diverse case load across the whole of Carlisle, offering joint community and acute working.

This role will be providing holistic assessment and review of patients with a variety of conditions   the Home First team works as part of the multi-disciplinary team across acute and community to prevent unnecessary admission in situations where community services could be utilised.

The successful candidate will be expected to work alongside the multi-disciplinary team to ensure health and care needs are delivered in the appropriate environment.

You will be a registered physiotherapist who is motivated, enthusiastic, flexible and dynamic and willing to work within a fast paced team. It is essential you can work autonomously and have good communication skills to support close working with patients and professionals at all levels but will be well supported from all staff within the team.

It is essential that you can travel independently throughout the city and surrounding areas.

Enhanced Check: £44 + administration cost of £4 = deduction from salary as one off payment or £15 deduction from 1st months salary, £11 deduction from salary over following 3 months.
