CSP Yorkshire and Humber Regional Network

The Yorkshire and Humber Regional Network of the CSP would love you to join them to explore some 'hot topics' facing the physio profession of the region.

Health inequalities

Within Yorkshire and the Humber the gap in life expectancy at birth between the least and most deprived areas is 11.2 years in males and 9.5 years in females. All 3 of the Integrated Care Systems in the region list tackling this inequality in health and wellbeing as a priority.

We will hear about research into the health outcomes of populations within Yorkshire, explore how physiotherapy can reduce inequalities in the populations it serves, and hear about work going on in the region.

Career pathways

There are many ways you can build a physio career! After lunch, we will hear from physios who have taken a variety of career paths. From physios who trained in different countries before building a career in Yorkshire, to physios who have stepped into research, to physios who have returned to practice following working in a different area. All four pillars of practice will be considered.

This session will end in a panel discussion – and questions or comments about career path options will be welcome.

The finalised programme will be shared soon.

The day is free to attend - but places are limited so book your place today!
