The CSP East Midlands Regional Network – Cultural Intelligence Taster Session
The CSP East Midlands Regional Network AGM is pleased to share news of their next free virtual event.

The meeting will start at 1pm. The hour-long taster session will introduce the participants to Cultural Intelligence.
About this event
Cultural Intelligence (CQ®) is a globally recognised way of assessing and improving effectiveness in culturally diverse situations. Based on peer-reviewed academic research and validity conducted across more than 100 countries. It is a research-based way of measuring and improving individual and organisational effectiveness across many culturally diverse workplace contexts including:

- Employee effectiveness
- Leader performance
- Recruitment, retention, talent management
- Quality decision making
- Idea sharing
Cultural Intelligence (CQ®) goes beyond existing approaches of cultural sensitivity, unconscious bias, and cultural awareness and sets out the skills, abilities, and capabilities that individuals and organisations need to successfully and respectfully work with difference and diversity.
This taster session will be led by Rachel Higgins. Rachel is the equality, diversity and inclusion lead at Lincolnshire Community Health Services.
Rachel's credentials include:
- 30 years' public sector experience
- Msc in diversity management
- Leading in healthcare (NHS Leadership Academy Mary Seacole Programme),
- A Cultural Intelligence Facilitator accredited by the Cultural Intelligence Centre.
- A Leading Inclusively with Cultural Intelligence Facilitator accredited by Above Difference limited
