Access to our eLibrary is a valued CSP membership benefit.

In the past few months, we not only have a new name for this service, but we also introduced our new WorldCat Discovery system.

WorldCat Discovery is now the CSP’s library catalogue. This easy-to-use interface allows access to evidence to support your practice, research, or studies. Here you can discover subscribed and open access health information, whether it is from eJournals, eBooks, healthcare databases, or grey literature related to physiotherapy. You can run a basic keyword search in a Google-like, single search box; or use the advanced search function to carry out a comprehensive search with more options to limit results. Full text is just one click away.  Step-by-step user guides are available to ensure you make effective use of our new discovery platform.

This easy-to-use interface allows access to evidence to support your practice, research, or studies.

Other than our own collection, in WorldCat Discovery you can find citations for journals from over 10,000 libraries worldwide. Looking for an article from a journal for which we don’t have a subscription? That is not a problem, you can request a copy and we will email you the full text at no extra cost.

We’d also like to remind you of our long-standing resources that allow you to conduct evidence searches on the individual platforms of bibliographic databases, such as AMED, MEDLINE or SPORTDiscus; or search CINAHL Plus with Full Text, which contains details of research related to allied health and provides full text access to journals indexed in this database.

To access WorldCat Discovery or our databases, all you need to do is to visit the CSP library (remember to log in your CSP website account  first).

Please let the eLKAS team know if you find them useful and send us your feedback or enquiries to library@csp.org.uk

We are here to help you get the most from our resources and services.
