Vacancy details

Due to sustained expanding demand for our Specialist Neuro physiotherapy services, Bridge4 Rehabilitation  are looking for  both a part-time and  a full-time specialist neuro physiotherapist to join our growing  energetic team,   to provide advanced neuro assessments, treatments and exercise programmes within our specialist unit.  The role would suit experienced Band 5 physiotherapists looking to move into a Band 6 neurophysiotherapy role with exciting progression, or a Band 6/7  physiotherapist looking to develop a high level of  expertise as a  clinical neurological physiotherapist in the private sector.  We offer dynamic and close supervision and  mentorship for staff without experience in the private sector and staff at earlier stages in their careers, to enable fast track development of specialist skills.  Candidates should have  experience in assessing and treating neurological patients , prescribing exercise programmes and be able to provide hands-on therapy.  The candidate will ideally have particular interest in developing skills in areas such  as  gym based exercise therapy for neurological patients,  splinting, and functional electrical stimulation.  The candidate will work closely with a small, friendly and experienced team of Neuro Physiotherapists, with specialist skills in the management of Parkinsons Disease, Spinal Cord Injury, Acquired and Traumatic Brain Injury, Stroke, and MS . The team has strong links with  Patient groups such as  Parkinsons UK, local GPs, NHS colleagues, other specialist neurological units such as Matt Hampson Foundation and the  Defence National Rehabilitation Centre. including specialist nursing teams etc

 Bridge4 Rehab, boasts wonderful facilities, assistive technology including FES, weight assisted hoist and treadmill, on site disability access gym and a lovely welcoming hospitality environment for patients, therapists and carers. We share a building with the wonderful  and unique Bridge4 Studio, a bespoke Physiotherapy led  gym, where both Neurological and MSK physiotherapists provide  coached group based exercise for patients  and gym members alike and patients  are able to extend their physiotherapy rehabilitation programmes into the wider fitness arena.

Situated on a small new business park  on the northern edge of outer Leicester with excellent parking and  road links across the East Midlands, Bridge4 Rehabilitation receives patients from around the region.
