Vacancy details

The Woman’s and Men’s Health outpatient team is based at Peterborough City Hospital and is responsible for providing a quality service to a busy out-patient department. Our referrals are received from local GP practices, Gynaecologists, Urologists, Obstetric and Colorectal Consultants, Specialist Nurses and out of area hospitals.

The out-patient team is led by a Therapy Team Manager, supported by a Team Leader Physiotherapist and Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist as well as Band 4 support staff.

We are looking for a Band 6 Women’s Health Physiotherapist to provide up to 25.5 hours a week. You should be forward thinking, dynamic and have the desire to develop and improve the service further.

Experience of Women’s and Men’s health would be advantageous but an MSK physiotherapist with the ambition and desire to develop within the Gynaecological and Obstetric speciality would be seriously considered. Funding will be made available for a course(s) specific to development into this area.

You will be encouraged and supported to develop your clinical, teaching and managerial skills and be actively involved in service development.

 We can offer you:

  • Professional support
  • Protected CPD time
  • Protected service development
  • Protected clinical audit time
  • Management support to develop the service
  • Flexible working arrangements
  • Opportunities to work alongside consultants in clinic
  • Opportunities to work along specialist Women’s/Men’s Health Physiotherapist

This is an exciting opportunity for the right physiotherapist to develop their career within a supportive team that will encourage your development to enhance your skills and the patient experience.
