Vacancy details

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Physiotherapist to join Vitalize Physiotherapy & Sports Injury Specialists on a part time employed basis. Vitalize Physiotherapy is an expanding private practice located in the East Midlands.

We have two clinics located in high quality fitness centres: Bluestone Fitness in Ashby De La Zouch and Anytime Fitness in Swadlincote. Our growing reputation is built on the ability to accurately diagnosis, deliver a range of treatments to a high standard and be able to work with our clients in the gym environment developing programmes that meet their personal needs.

We are looking for a high calibre Physiotherapist. You will be required to work between 20 – 30 hours per week which will include at least 4 to 5 clinic sessions. Please note, there is flexibility in determining the number of hours worked, clinic locations and the start/finish times but one of the core days required is Thursdays.

The primary place of work will be at our Ashby Clinic but depending on hours agreed a successful applicant may work across both clinic sites.

Job Role and Requirements:

  • Work with a wide range of neuromusculoskeletal conditions from sports injuries to workplace injuries and a range of other presentations.
  • To work in a private clinic setting providing physiotherapy services of the highest standards to a varied client base; from the elite athlete, recreational performer to general public.
  • Meet the standards and code of conducts set by the CSP and HCPC
  • To demonstrate and deliver expert assessment and diagnostic skills ensuring individualised and relevant treatment plans are created for each individual client.
  • Use an evidence-based approach with all treatments and rehabilitation exercises prescribed.
  • Be competent, comfortable, and confident working with clients in both an exercise/gym environment and one to one in the treatment room.
  • Be able to prescribe and provide specific rehabilitation programmes to assist in injury management and prevention.
  • Excellent communication skills to be utilised with all elements of client management from the initial assessment to any specific onward referrals if required.
  • Excellent communication skills with colleagues and practice manager/ clinical lead.
  • Keep up to date, clear and accurate medical records in accordance with CSP/HCPC guidelines using the practice management software (Cliniko).
  • Be compliant with all governance standards and participate in clinical audit and quality assurance processes.
  • To make bookings and take payments at the completion of a session.

Qualifications and Essential Requirements

  • BSc Physiotherapy
  • HCPC Registered
  • Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Neuromusculoskeletal physiotherapy or sports provisions
  • Excellent communication and timekeeping skills
  • Competent use of MS Office and Clinic Management software’s

Desirable Requirements

  • MSc in Manual Therapy, Rehabilitation, Sports Medicine or other Physiotherapy based equivalents.
  • Acupuncture Qualification
  • Women’s Health experience
  • Clinical Pilates
  • Lymphatic Drainage
  • First aid Qualification
  • Evidence of in-depth CPD
