We are looking for a Physiotherapist to lead our Therapy Team who is committed, enthusiastic and wants to work to the highest standard in an environment that is fast paced and innovative. The successful candidate must demonstrate drive, initiative and flexibility whilst carrying out all the principal responsibilities in order to promote and maintain high standards of service delivery in the nursing, social, rehabilitation and domestic needs of the clients.
Within their role they will act as a knowledge base and support in the Therapy field for all Managers and staff within the company. To continually promote awareness of Therapy nursing, social rehabilitation and the teams’ role as part of the multidisciplinary team. They will work with the Registered Nurses and Registered Home Manager in developing Therapy plans for each client and in completing client assessments for the use of the pool, chairs, hoists and other equipment. They will lead on projects that improve quality of care/Therapy services for the clients and will ensure client documentation is monitored regularly and is of a high standard. As part of their role they will also complete reports and minutes when required.
As a Therapy Lead they will plan the Therapy Team rota, review and approve annual leave and will lead on supervisions and appraisals.
Excellent training opportunities will be offered and provided. All staff are subject to a DBS check at Enhanced level.
