An exciting opportunity has arisen for an individual to undertake the role of Physiotherapist. This is a challenging role that requires the successful candidate to work autonomously and be solely responsible for the delivery of physiotherapy services within Essex Police, therefore good communication, planning, organisational and time management skills are essential.

You will work closely in support of Occupational Health Advisers, the Force Medical Adviser and General Practitioners. Inclusive of Senior Leaders and other MDT members of the Health Services team.

Applicants will provide evidence of the following skills/experience: HCPC (Health and Care Professional Council) Registered. Degree in Physiotherapy. At least 2 years post qualification experience and will need to have a comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft packages including Word and Excel.

This opportunity would suit a highly motivated and dynamic individual who can bring their wide experience and provide physiotherapy services as part of the current services provided by Health Services department. Ensuring officers and staff are actively rehabilitated back to operational duties and provide pro-active sessions to a range of staff and officer groups to promote injury reduction techniques in support of their overall health and wellbeing.

Successful applicants for this role will be defined as a static worker: works solely from one office within an office-based team. Some travel may be required to other police sites to discharge duty.

Kent Police and Essex Police have separate salary grading systems therefore the salary for this position will be dependent on which home office force you are appointed to. This will be discussed with the successful applicant before a final offer is made
