About us
The Fire Fighters Charity offers specialist, lifelong support for members of the UK fire services community, empowering individuals to achieve mental, physical, and social wellbeing throughout their lives.
Working remotely, you will deliver virtual and telephone assessments and treatment for individuals presenting with a variety of conditions and goals. You will manage your own clinical caseload and utilise your physiotherapy skills and expertise to develop evidence-informed and effective treatment and management plans to meet the needs of our beneficiaries.
Working as part of a multi professional team you will triage, refer, and manage referrals into other pathways of support including the Charity’s residential services and outpatient’s provision. You will also work closely with other practitioners in providing support to small groups (digital provision) to meet specific needs; this will include the ongoing development and delivery of our Covid recovery programme. Our Physiotherapists see a wide range of health conditions, and you will have substantial opportunities to be an active part of our ongoing service development.
It is an exciting time in the Charity as we progress through our 2020-2025 strategic plan, working in new and innovative ways to provide more support for more of our beneficiaries in the fire service community.
