Penzance Phyiotherapy and Pilates, is looking for a positive, caring and motivated physiotherapist to join a thriving Physiotherapy Practice established within a multidisciplinary Therapy and Exercise Centre, housing Sports Massage, Acupuncture, Osteopathy, Counselling, and both Yoga and Pilates Studios. The post is available on a self-employed basis for a musculoskletal physiotherapist. Working hours are flexible, initially starting at 10-15 hours a week with the capapcity to increase. Ideally the candidate will have at least 5 years post grad experience. Pilates training and any specialist interest would be an advantage. Alongside our existing classes, we are expanding our range of exercise classes to help promote health for those with different MSK, health and mobility issues post lockdown. This is an initiative that a successful applicant could develop and lead.
Penzance Physiotherapy and Pilates was set up in 2004 and expanded when they moved premises and set up Clarence House Therapy Centre in 2011. We have a close working collaboration with the other therapists and class instructors working with us at the Centre.
Only a small proportion of our referrals are insurance referals with the vast majority of our referrals coming from local knowledge and word of mouth.
We are based in Penzance, in West Cornwall, with easy access to the sea and coastpath, for those applicants interested in outdoor and sporting activities eg surfing, swimming and hiking
