Innovations in Primary Care (IPC), a federation of the GP Practices within the Coastal West Sussex area, is looking for enthusiastic, motivated and hardworking Physiotherapists with proven MSK experience, to join an expanding, dynamic and exciting service, working within GP Practices, as a Band 7 MSK First Contact Practitioner (FCP).
The successful applicants will work in an extended role, providing first contact to patients with MSK conditions (potentially with complex other medical needs). Working independently they will have responsibility for patient care management including assessment, treatment and onward referral for diagnostic or secondary care services as required.
Support and clinical supervision will be provided to support completion of the MSK Roadmap to Practice, including funding for MSK masters-level modules.
You will be joining a supportive team of FCPs with an established education and peer support group. Each FCP works within one Primary Care Network, working closely as part of the multi-disciplinary team.
The Rural North Chichester PCN is made up of 4 practices (Loxwood Medical Practice, Petworth Surgery, Pulborough Medical Group and Riverbank Medical Centre). The successful candidate would work across two of the practices.
