How is AI being used in real clinical practice, beyond just automating notes?
On Saturday 16th May, the London Regional Network hosted a webinar exploring real-world examples of how we can expand the scope of AI within our own roles. We explored:
- Where AI is appearing in physiotherapy today, from decision support to triage and benchmarking
- How this aligns with the CSP and wider UK professional guidance on digital and AI in practice
- What it looks like to be hands-on in designing diagnostic tools and improving clinical services.
Our speakers shared their frontline experience of building and testing AI tools in areas such as service redesign, clinical model benchmarking and diagnostic support, helping you understand both the opportunities and limitations so you can confidently navigate AI in your own practice.
Speakers
- Euan McComiskie, CSP Health Informatics Lead
- Christopher Efford, MSK Therapy Service Lead
- Dr. Chak Ip Lam (SHO and Clinical Fellow)
- Dr. Munib Mesinovic (Post Doctoral Researcher in AI for Health)
