Please help us to help you have a brilliant experience as a presenter by submitting your poster/ presentation by the set deadline. We can then carry out technical checks on the hundreds of presentations and prepare all of the content to ensure smooth-running of this large event.

Abstracts

The call for abstracts for the principle conference is now CLOSED. If you have submitted an abstract, you will be contacted regarding the outcome in the second half of May.

    Frequently Asked Questions

    What's the difference between the student and principal conference?

    • Both conferences are part of the same event.

    The student conference is aimed at middle and final year physiotherapy students and will take place on Thursday 10 October. Attendance is free, but only CSP student members can attend in person for free. 

    The principal conference will take place on Friday 11 and Saturday 12 October and bookings are open to all.  


    Do I need to pay for a ticket to attend?

    • If you are presenting as part of a symposium or networking session, you will be able to attend the day of your presentation for free, but will need to cover other costs.

    If you are attending to present an abstract at the principal conference, on 11-12 October, you will need to buy a ticket to attend. Early bird two-day tickets are £119 and available until 21 June. 

    If you are presenting at the student conference on 10 October, you will be able to book a ticket for free. 


    Is there financial support to attend?

    • In specific circumstances, you can apply to our Widening Participation Award or other grants for financial support to attend. Please visit our conference funding webpage. 

    Can I use Mentimeter or other voting software? 

    • Symposiums, workshops and networking sessions can use mentimeter and there is information on how to do this in the guidelines above which you can download.

    Can I bring my presentation on my laptop?

    • No. You need to submit your presentation to our online system in advance. The deadline for presentations is 15 September at Midday for the student conference and 22 September at Midday for the principal conference. 


    When is the deadline to upload my poster?

    • All posters must be uploaded to our e-Poster system by Midday on 18 September 2024. There are awards available for each theme of the principal conference and the student conference, so 12 awards in total. Posters which are submitted after the deadline cannot be considered in the poster awards judging, so don't miss the deadline! 

    When do I need to share my presentation?

    • This is really important as we are working with a brilliant audio visual team and need to prepare the presentations in advance. Please help us support you to have a great event, by submitting your work by the below deadlines. 
    • The deadline to submit your presentation for the student conference is Midday on 15 September.
    • The deadline to submit your presentation for the principal conference is Midday on 22 September.
