CSP Charitable Trust

Get financial assistance for your research project, masters degree, nationally accredited course, N/SVQ, overseas elective placement, BTEC award or access courses through the CSP's Charitable Trust.

The next deadline for education award applications is 1 September 2012.

Please note: we are moving towards online applications for educational awards, as well as updating some awards criteria, so please re-visit this web page in July 2012 for more information on how to apply.

Qualified and associate members can apply for help towards the cost of academically accredited course fees and related expenses as well as UK and overseas presentations.

Qualified members can also apply for help towards the cost of overseas development projects and research visits.

Student member can apply for funding towards the cost of overseas elective placements. The next deadline for these particular awards will be in Spring 2013 – the exact date has not yet been finalised so please check this site again in autumn 2012 for details of the Spring deadline.

All applications are assessed on a competitive basis and it is expected that applications can demonstrate focus on achieving the following priorities:

  • demonstrating patient/public benefit
  • demonstrating physiotherapy leadership
  • demonstrating development as a workforce and profession.

About the Charitable Trust

The CSP Charitable Trust was established in 1980 as an independent charitable organisation. It supports the advancement of physiotherapy education and research through annual awards made to members.
