Dive into this in-person networking opportunity focused on leadership and fuel your ambition to lead healthcare together with other CSP members from the East of England.

The conference will equip you with the tools and know-how that you need to lead the healthcare system.

The conference is suitable for physiotherapy staff at all stages of the career ladder including students, support workers and chartered physiotherapists.

Event Highlights

The event will start with a keynote address from John Cowman - the CSP’s new Chief Executive. John’s keynote address will include information on his own leadership journey, guidance on negotiating challenges and what leadership is in different areas of the profession. He will stay for the entirety of the event and is looking forward to meeting CSP members in person over the refreshment breaks and free networking lunch.

The programme will also include presentations on:

  • Advance practice opportunities in the East of England with Nishma Hunt, Advanced Practice Education Lead (East of England) NHS England Training program Director- Community and Rehabilitation
  • The value of research and data collection in practice with Colin Hamilton, Joint Lead for Nursing, Midwifery and AHP Research, Cambridge University Hospital Trust
  • Physiotherapy Health Informatics Strategy (PHIS) and how CSP members can improve the working lives of physios, the services provided and patients' outcomes by embedding the best use of informatics throughout the profession with John Cowman, CSP Chief Executive
  • The Reality of Writing Business Cases as a Clinician with Nicola Day, Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist in Oncological Rehabilitation & Exercise Cancer Exercise Specialist , Cambridge University Hospital Trust
  • An introduction to process mapping and how to use it to lead service development/improvement with Bryony Lewis Improvement & Transformation Facilitator, Improvement and Transformation Team at Cambridge University Hospital Trust
  • Leadership and Opportunities as a CSP Member with the CSP regional staff team and Heidi Rolfe-Hill, CSP East of England Regional Steward
  • Plus plenty of time for Q&A and discussion.

The event will also include a free networking lunch plus the CSP East of England Regional Network AGM.

East of England Regional Network AGM

Join the new East of England Regional Network team at the annual general meeting, which will take place at the conference, and put your learning into action.

All CSP members who live, work or study in the East of England are invited to join the team at the AGM.
