Celebrate your reps

Our stewards, safety reps and equality reps play a vital role within our union. Working with members they coordinate collective efforts to achieve social justice within your workplaces. Their work not only impacts their immediate colleagues – but also contributes to the broader landscape of fair work, fair conditions, and fair pay in healthcare settings.

Our Rep of the Year Awards provide recognition for those workplace representatives who have gone above and beyond in advocating for the rights and wellbeing of their colleagues. 

These annual awards celebrate the unsung heroes within our workplaces – those that have dedicated themselves to ensuring fair practices, fostering a supportive work environment and championing the rights of their colleagues and the profession.

This year there are four awards up for grabs: Steward of the Year; Safety Rep of the Year; Rep Team of the Year; and Outstanding Contribution to Equality in the Workplace.

Members can nominate as many reps as you wish. We also encourage self-nominations.  The winners will be selected by a panel of judges and invited to a special presentation ceremony at the CSP’s Annual Representative Conference in Manchester, 18 to 19 June 2024.

The Rep of the Year Awards serve as a reminder that, indeed, our strength lies in unity.
