Rehab Therapist - Neuro, Stroke & Elderly Rehab Specialist

I qualified in 1998 with a BSc (Physiotherapy) degree and further enhanced my qualifications, skills, and knowledge by completing Post Graduate Diploma in Neurorehabilitation (M level) in 2005 from Brunel University, West London. Ithen went on to further my specialist interests in spasticity management by completing a master’s level module in ‘spasticity management using Botulinum toxin’ in 2011 from the University of Plymouth. I have a strong commitment to ongoing postgraduate training and ensuring I deliver the best, evidence-based practice.  I also teach physiotherapists extensively across the UK and abroad contributing to the development of the profession.

I am approachable, enthusiastic, and full of passion for enabling patients to achieve their goals, maximise their independence, and ultimately improve their health and wellbeing. For a large part of my long career, I worked extensively with patients with a wide range of neurological conditions including Stroke, Traumatic Brain Injury, Multiple Sclerosis, Spinal Cord injury, Guillain Barre Syndrome, Motor Neuro Disease, Cerebral Palsy, Brain Tumour, Dystonia, and Functional Neurological Disorder.

I can also provide expert advice and treatment for balance problems in older adults and treat patients following illness, surgery, or recent hospital admission to help them return their previous level of function.

I am fully registered member of the Health Professions Council (HPC), Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP), and ACPIN (Association of Physiotherapists Interested in Neurology). 

I provide specialist neurological assessment and treatment in your own home, including care homes and day centers.

I am based in Aylesbury but able to travel across Buckinghamshire and West Hertfordshire.
