I have over 30 years experience working in the NHS and then in my business for the last 14 years. I specialise in 2 areas:
Older adult rehabilitation - this is typically after a period in hospital or illness which has led to reduced confidence in mobility, balance and strength.
Rehabilitation of neurological conditions in adults: this is typically with people who have had a stroke, or living with MS or Parkinson's disease.
I work with people in their homes or care homes in and around the Belper area and also around Derby.
My work frequently involves support of the whole family, reducing stress at what can often be very challenging times for all, providing a tailored and holistic service, assisting in the navigation of other services which may help or equipment, to enable someone to regain their physical abilities and maintain independence.
