Key features

This is four-year full-time programme leading to eligibility to register with the Health Professions Council and the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy. Year 1 involves study of the applied sciences with an introduction to basic theories associated with patient management. Year 2 focuses on the assessment and treatment of disorders of the cardio-respiratory, musculoskeletal and neurological systems. Year 3 involves clinical practice-based learning which will enable you to develop a range of professional skills including patient assessment and treatment and evaluation of practice. In year 4 you complete an honours project and continue clinical practice-based learning.
