The Physiotherapy course at the University of Worcester was newly accredited and delivered in September 2013. We are part of the Health and Applied Social Sciences Unit in the Institute of Health and Society that offers pre-registration training for Nurses, Midwives, Paramedics and Occupational Therapists.
We are a small course of 20 within a small and very friendly university with dedicated and supportive academic staff and students. Our course is modular and semester based, with an early focus on integrated continual Practice Learning which runs in parallel with your university based education. We have brand new physiotherapy skills and clinical simulation facilities including Ability House, a purpose built facility to simulate a home environment. We focus on the development of leaderships skills throughout the course in readiness for dynamic and innovative careers in the changing profession of physiotherapy.
