Senior Physiotherapist - Oncology
Location – The Christie Private Care
Contract Type - Permanent, Full time at 37.5 hours per week

The Christie Private Care builds on these services and provides state-of-the-art private patient facilities which include; 28 bedded inpatient Oncology wards, 6 bed Haematology and Transplant unit, Day Case Chemotherapy Unit, Outpatient Department, Specialised Radiotherapy Unit & Psychology services.
Job Description
Ensure a Physiotherapy service of the highest quality is provided, to meet the requirements of all service users within the Oncology department.
To work as an autonomous practitioner, providing expert assessment, clinical diagnosis and treatment for patients requiring physiotherapy at The Christie Private Care.
To be responsible for the co-ordination, organization and delivery of physiotherapy care, ensuring that individual patients physiotherapy needs are met.
To provide supervision and training to other members of the Multi-Disciplinary Team.
To contribute to the development of The Christie Private Care Physiotherapy Service.
Assist the Clinical Lead and Service Manager to strategically plan, develop and promote the Physiotherapy service
Skills & Experience
HCPC Registration
Physiotherapy degree qualification or equivalent
Post registration broad clinical experience in either Oncology, Haematology, Neurology, Cardiorespiratory or general medical / surgical care.
A passion to develop and specialise within Oncology.
