    On joining our agile and highly energised multidisciplinary team you’ll have a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills and experience across a range of specialties and levels of complexity.

     

    Supported by our Physiotherapy Manager, Kate Hughes, you’ll have autonomy to utilise your acquired expertise and skills to make decisions that will ensure the delivery of excellent patient care. You will see a wide range of outpatient musculoskeletal conditions and be involved in covering the inpatients on the ward. You will play a key role in helping our patients achieve, maintain and recover to the level of health and wellbeing that they aspire to.

    The role is based at The Manor Hospital in Headington Oxford. You will work within a multidisciplinary team of clinicians to optimise the health of our patients. You will have the opportunity to see patients from immediately post op to the end of their rehabilitation.     What else is involved in the role?

     

    Within the role you’ll provides remote and face to face Triage of patients to the appropriate treatment pathway using a bio-psychosocial approach.

    The role also requires the applicant to be part of the weekend rota, helping to treat mostly elective orthopaedic patients pre or post-operatively.

     

    You will work within a multidisciplinary team including nurses, AHPS and consultants in order to optimise the health and recovery of our patients.

     

    Be compliant with all professional, clinical and integrated governance standards and participate in clinical audit and other quality assurance processes

    In addition, we offer a number of flagship programmes, which our Physiotherapists support the delivery of; from our Joint Pain programme, Cystic Fibrosis programme and School SWAP these are designed to deliver excellent clinical care as well as benefit the local communities, using our state of the art facilities and expert knowledge colleagues.

    What are we looking for in our Senior Physiotherapists?

    With a BSc in Physiotherapy or equivalent, you’ll be HCPC registered. You will have evidence of further professional training and continual professional development, reflecting your desire to develop as a practitioner.

    You’ll be a confident communicator with the ability to engage effectively with the general public and other healthcare professionals.

    We expect you to be a competent and confident IT user and to be well organised – you’ll have the ability to prioritise and deal with your varied workload in an effective and timely manner.

    Salary – Up to 38k plus enhanced rates such as on-call, weekend work and overtime
