We at Tayloredfit Physio are delighted to be growing our team of talented clinicians and are currently looking for Musculoskeletal (MSK) Clinicians (experienced Band 5/Band 6) who are passionate about providing high-quality patient-centred care to join us as part of a  multidisciplinary team in Newcastle Upon Tyne.

The full time post (37.5 hrs) is a community-based service  in a GP surgery in Newcastle Upon Tyne providing a single-point of access for NHS patients referred by their GP with MSK conditions. We offer fast and effective physiotherapy-led treatment as well as expert clinical assessment, onward referrals, all from local and convenient GP  community settings. This service design allows clients to be seen quickly, closer to home in the community, delivering seamless and evidence based care for patients.

 

Requirements

We are looking for well-organised Senior MSK Clinicians, to deliver quality clinical care for patients with MSK conditions. Whilst undertaking comprehensive assessment and diagnosis of patients with a wide variety of physical  conditions, you must formulate, deliver, review and progress individual treatment programmes and ensure effective treatment, specialist advice and timely discharge are achieved.

Applicants will have a Physiotherapy Degree ( BSC Hons or MSc), be registered with the HCPC and be qualified as a clinician that works within MSK practice. Access to own car for work purposes for this community based post.

•             Previous experience in delivering musculoskeletal  physiotherapy services  to provide excellent personalised care would be preferable although training will be given.

•             An understanding of the impact of Musculoskeletal pain in the wider community and how collaborative working enables prevention and addresses health inequalities.

•             Outstanding values that underpin clinical expertise and people management 

•             Understanding of quality of audits and the integration of Evidence Based Practice
