What can this role offer me?
By joining us you’ll be stepping away from NHS pressures and demands, as the Island’s healthcare system is similar but separate to the UK NHS.
You will have access to fantastic in-house training courses and leadership development opportunities. As well as this, you will receive an additional pay allowance when taking part in the combined respiratory and orthopaedics on call rota and when working bank holidays.
Free parking will also be available to you at Nobles Hospital.
Are you an experienced Physiotherapist with an interest in trauma and orthopaedics looking for the next step in your career?
About the role and our team
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Physiotherapist to join our Orthopaedics Team on the Isle of Man!
Within this role, you will assess inpatients with a range of elective orthopaedic or trauma related conditions, develop and implement individualised treatment programmes and facilitate a safe and timely discharge from hospital.
You will work closely alongside other members of the multi-disciplinary team especially occupational therapy, and will be part of the overall Manx Care team supporting TT and Manx Grand Prix.
This role allows you to expand your leadership skills and develop others by leading in-service training, supervising colleagues and identifying areas of service for development/audit, leading these projects with support from the team.
We are looking for someone with a flexible and adaptable approach to be part of our small and friendly team. If this sounds like something you would enjoy, we’d love to hear from you!
