Vacancy details

We are seeking a motivated, dedicated and innovative Physiotherapist to join our well established, highly supportive multi professional palliative care teams. The role is for 15 hours per week.

Hope House is a bright, homely, active and supportive place situated in Morda, Oswestry.  We’re a charity that cares for children with serious conditions, who aren’t expected to live longer than early adulthood.  We help them enjoy the best possible quality of life and be as comfortable, happy and fulfilled as they can.  We support their parents and families too, who often find it hard to cope.

We are seeking a motivated, dedicated and innovative Physiotherapist to join our well established, highly supportive multi professional palliative care teams.

Working alongside our existing Physiotherapist, you will offer high quality assessments and therapeutic treatment plans and take an ongoing educational and advisory role to include manual handling.  As a Physiotherapist you will need evidence of experience in neurological, respiratory physiotherapy and hydrotherapy.

Excellent communication skills and an interest in and understanding of psychological wellbeing are essential in these areas of therapy.  Support and training to develop these skills will be offered and encouraged.  To support you fully in this role you will be offered regular clinical supervision and appraisal, plus internal and external training opportunities.
