Pathfinders Specialist and Complex Care is a modern, well equipped, multidisciplinary environment, with an excellent reputation. Working with adults of working age (18 – 65 yrs.) who have conditions requiring complex medical/respiratory care, rehabilitation and/or life limiting physical conditions.

As a Band 6 Physiotherapist working for Pathfinders Specialist and complex care your main duties will be:

  • To participate in the provision of high quality therapeutic activities, using a wide range of approaches to suit the patient’s varying needs, including respiratory treatments.
  • Encouraging independence and personal choice and help to provide an environment which is conducive to patients with varied and complex needs realising their potential to live as independently as they can.
  • Ensure that you provide evidence-based practice and are outcome focused.
  • To communicate and liaise effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.
  • To take an active role in the development of personal and professional development of yourself and of other staff.

To join Pathfinders as a Physiotherapist you will:-

  • Have as a minimum a BSc or recognised postgraduate diploma in Physiotherapy.
  • Hold a current registration with the HCPC.
  • Have a proven track record of expertise in the area of Physiotherapy.
  • Have a person centred ethos, showing empathy and a desire to make a difference.
  • Be able to demonstrate initiative and creativity
  • Be flexible and adaptable, well organised and able to manage time and workload effectively in line with the needs of the service.

Care is fully supported on site with Enablers, Care Managers, Occupational Therapists, Therapy Assistants, Speech and Language Therapist and Activities coordinator, onsite Pharmacy. The team works within a multidisciplinary environment and provides long and short term rehabilitation service as well as medical and respiratory treatments.
