We are excited to be able to advertise a rotational post for a Band 5 Physiotherapist across both the Hyper-acute and Acute Stroke Unit (based at Royal Stoke Hospital) and the Integrated Community Stroke Rehabilitation Service (ICSRS).
As a band 5 physiotherapist you will be well supported by a large stroke therapy team based on the stroke unit at Royal Stoke Hospital and will have opportunity to develop your skills in acute stroke including respiratory input and stroke rehabilitation both inpatient and community based.
The ICSRS is a new service commissioned by Eastern Cheshire Clinical Commissioning Group (ECCCG) and delivered by University Hospitals of North Midlands (UHNM).
The Integrated Community Stroke Rehabilitation Service will provide a high quality multi-disciplinary stroke specialist service which will be delivered to the population of Eastern Cheshire to support more timely discharges from the acute Hospital setting, to deliver care closer to home and it will address the physical, psychological and social wellbeing needs of the population.
