We are looking to recruit an additional 2 physiotherapist on a full time or part time basis. the case load will be a mixture of NHS and private patients.
The practice has an excellent reputation and prides itself on being an integral part of the local community and a team. We have good working relationships with local GP's and consultants alike.
This job would suit a physio who would like to start off working in a private practice or potentially someone who wants to supplement other part-time physio work elsewhere. We are looking for someone who is able to manage a case load and is motivated, with excellent clinical reasoning skills and who is experienced in manual techniques and exercise prescription. You must have at least 1 years experience, and must hold full HCPC registration and be eligible to work in the UK
Job Role:-
Collaborate with patient’s doctor for referrals, notes, and medical history if and when necessary
Review and evaluate patient through a concise subjective and objective assessment
Create and implement treatment care plans tailored to each patient’s individual needs
Establish patient goals and benchmarks
Manual therapy to assist with pain, function and restriction where appropriate
Schedule exercises and therapies for the patient
Observe and review patient progress
Assist and demonstrate proper stretches, techniques, exercise moves, and equipment uses specific to patient needs
Educate patient family members, caretakers, or close friends on the patient’s treatment plan if and when necessary
Recommend and onward referral to specialists to patients who need additional medical attention
Document patient medical progress and treatment; record notes to update medical conditions according to CSP guidelines
Rates of pay will depend on experience.
