Physiotherapist (up to 12mth FTC)

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Physiotherapist  to provide maternity leave cover, to work at Marine Court in Littlehampton. You will be joining our team at an exciting time for us as we develop our services to ensure we are meeting the changing needs of our beneficiaries within the current climate of increasing long term and mental health conditions. If you are a band 5 physiotherapist and are looking for an opportunity to develop your skills in a forward thinking responsive sphere of healthcare then this could be an excellent opportunity for you, or you may already be in a band 6 role and are looking for a change.

Physiotherapist (up to 12mth FTC to cover maternity leave)

37.5 hours per week

4 week rota, working 1 Saturday (weekend) day in 4

£32,548 per annum plus excellent benefits

Working in collaboration with Exercise Therapists and Psychological Therapists you will use your expertise to support the recovery of members of the Fire and Rescue Service Community through physiotherapy assessment, treatment and management both at our specialist rehabilitation centre and online through our digital platforms and apps.  You will have substantive opportunities to be an active part of service development and audit and lead on areas that sit within this.  

To be successful, you will:

• Have a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy or an alternative appropriate qualification in physiotherapy.
• Be a chartered physiotherapist, registered with the HCPC and a Member of the CSP
• Have a broad range of physiotherapy skills, including MSK
• Ideally have experience of supporting people with neurological and complex problems
• Have excellent communication skills and be adaptable & resilient to change.
