The School of Nursing, Midwifery and Health are seeking to recruit a motivated and enthusiastic HCPC registered physiotherapist to work as a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer within an established team of academics delivering physiotherapy programmes at undergraduate and post-graduate level. Our BSc (Hons) programme has been ranked 6th in the recent Complete University Guide 2019.
Successful candidates will possess an excellent understanding of physiotherapy practice, research and evidence-informed practice. At Lecturer/ Senior Lecturer level, applicants should hold a Master’s degree in a physiotherapy related subject and have either HEI or professional experience of teaching and learning at UG and PG levels.
Applications are welcome from those who have previous experience of teaching or assessing in practice or HEI based physiotherapy programmes.
The post is full-time and on a permanent basis. The salary is dependent upon the skills and qualifications of the individual.
The University offers academic and professional development opportunities and provides a Post Graduate Certificate Teaching Qualification leading to HEA accreditation for those not holding a teaching qualification.
