Are you looking for a challenging and fulfilling opportunity as a children's Physiotherapist to work in a supportive community team, with a special interest in musculo-skeletal cases? Then this may be perfect for you.
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic paediatric physiotherapist to develop and lead our musculo- skeletal service for children aged 0-12 years. This could be an opportunity for an experienced band 6 that would like to develop skills in this area.
You will be based at the Phoenix Children's Resource Centre in Bromley and be part of a dynamic, friendly physiotherapy and multi disciplinary team, and have the opportunity to develop your skills as an MSK lead and as a children's physiotherapist, seeing children and young people with a wide variety of conditions within a variety of settings including schools, within the home and as out patients. The Phoenix Centre has great facilities including therapy rooms, gym, soft play area and an aquatic therapy pool. Experience and further professional development in working with children with musculo skeletal problems would be required.
There are regular staff meetings and in service training days, and appraisals and clinical supervision in place. We encourage staff to access CPD, and training and networking opportunities .
Bromley has a proven record of multi agency working with the Phoenix providing a 'one stop shop' approach for many families. A family centred approach is core to our services, working together with colleagues and families to ensure the children achieve the best outcomes.
Bromley Healthcare CIC is an NHS community provider and part of the NHS family.
But we are a little different; we like to think that we stand out from typical NHS organisations as Bromley Healthcare CIC is actually a co-owned social enterprise, co-owned by its employees. This means that our staff remain on NHS Agenda for Change Terms and Conditions and are members of the NHS pension scheme (providing you are eligible), if not we can offer the Nest or Scottish Widows pension schemes.
What difference does this make?
Because our Nurses, therapists and support staff co-own Bromley Healthcare CIC and have a real say in how our services are run, this has created a greater sense of ownership, responsibility & motivation among our staff which in turn creates better quality for our patients & families.
We are planning to hold interviews on Monday 17th December 2018
