Anna Curtis, aged 39, suffered with incontinence for more than a year after giving birth to her first child.

For 18 months she was left feeling upset and embarrassed about her problem which she assumed was a normal part of recovering from childbirth. However after visiting an Urologist she was diagnosed with a pelvic prolapse.

She began physiotherapy and a series of monthly maintenance sessions helped her get the problem under control, and she gave birth to her second child last year.

"Being active has always been a big part of my life. When I found I couldn't do certain exercise without leaking following my first pregnancy, finding something to keep me physically active was so important to help me feel normal again.

I have always used physical activity as an escape so when parenting gets tough, it's important I have something I can turn to give me that boost.

I couldn't run for a long time but I found other forms of exercise to help me through that time."
