I am a physiotherapist and not currently working but would like to return to help out. How do I do this?
- To work as a physiotherapist you must have a current HCPC registration.
- The temporary register developed in 2020 to enable previous registrants to support the pandemic response is still active. However it only includes those who were de-registered at the time the register was set up at the end of March 2020. The exceptions are those who opted out of the temporary register. If you re-registered last year you can check if you remain on the temporary register here
- Alternatively, former registrants may be eligible to be readmitted to the register if they came off the main register within the last three years. All requests have to go through fitness to practice checks. If a former registrant does want to apply for re-entry to the register information can be found on the Readmission page on the HCPC website.
