As we move towards delivering more integrated health and care, joining up with local government and the third sector, the role of Allied Health Professionals has never been more important.

NHS England has produced a short video highlighting how AHPs can contribute to delivering more integrated, seamless care for patients and communities. The video features AHPS as well as NHS Chief Executive Simon Stevens who says we need to harness the energy and expertise of AHPs across the country to ensure that our health services are sustainable over the next decade.

Please do share this video through social media and your other communications channels to help raise the profile of AHPs in delivering integrated care.

The full video can be found here and on NHS England's Integrated Care webpages, which include other information you may find useful. You can also view this, and a range of other case studies, on our YouTube playlist, which highlights a range of other initiatives taking place across the country to improve health and care for patients. Please use hashtags #FutureNHS and #AHPsintoAction for any posts.
