Rewarding reps

Is your CSP rep one in a million? If your steward, health and safety or student representative is exceptional then why not nominate them for the new CSP rep of the year awards?

Any CSP member can nominate their rep to win a £100 prize at a special ceremony. The search is on for reps who have made a real difference at work – running a campaign, getting members involved in tackling problems in the workplace or improving health and safety in their department. ‘Reps are such a valuable resource for members, particularly in this difficult and uncertain climate,’ said CSP national officer Jess Belmonte. ‘We are very keen to recognise and reward the fantastic work that they do to improve the working lives of CSP members.’ As well as the three rep of the year categories there is a special prize for reps who have worked to make the voice of the CSP stronger by recruiting new members. This is your opportunity to show appreciation of people who work hard on your behalf. Nominations open in the autumn. Look out for more information in Frontline and at www.csp.org.uk/repoftheyear nearer the time.
