Accessible for NHS workers across the UK, this is a training package of e-learning sessions to support primary care practice in MSK. There are eight sessions that take the learner through a range of particular primary care issues that are commonly seen as part of an MSK FCP assessment, and each e-learning session takes approximately 20 to 30 minutes.

A suite of infographics that explain the physical activity needed for general health benefits for all age groups, disabled adults, pregnant women and women after childbirth. They are part of the chief medical officers’ recently-published guidance on physical activity levels

Software to turn physical and cognitive exercises into clinical exergames

MIRA is designed to help make physiotherapy more engaging for patients recovering at home. Designed as a tool for therapists, it uses motion tracking sensors to engage patients in their therapy, while assessing and reporting patient compliance. The MIRA software includes more than 450 exergames, along with assessment tools, cognigames and custom exercises. 

Fit in 50 seconds

A 32-page wellbeing booklet that aims to combat the ill-effects of a sedentary lifestyle. Full of simple exercises and ways to boost health, the booklet is aimed at workers but could also be useful resource for patients. Designed by physiotherapist Chris Packham, it has already been rolled out to employees in several NHS trusts, including Coventry & Warwickshire Partnership NHS.

Hip Sprint hubs for online networking with other members

The CSP website features a range of resources to help you in your hip fracture service improvement work. Hip Sprint hubs are virtual member networks that you can join and then connect with, network and share good practice with other members in your local area and within your local hip fracture pathways. 

Use the hubs to promote the findings of your hip sprint local work, share examples of good practice, ask a question or share a challenge, other resources include top tips and slides.
