Rehabilitation website launched

The Community Rehabilitation Team Network has launched a website to encourage interdisciplinary and interagency work among its members throughout the UK.

The network is comprised of people from various disciplines and backgrounds who work in community rehabilitation and intermediate care. Members share experiences and ideas, solve problems, and mentor and support each other. The website provides members with online services, including a forum that enables them to raise issues and post responses. Network chair Anita Williams said the forum was the website’s most exciting facility. It would expand members’ contact beyond the network’s meetings and annual conferences, allowing debates and national networking to take place online at any time. News about the network and information on its meetings are provided on the website. Newcomers can join the network online. The network was established in 1997 and became a registered charity in 2000. Its patron is professor of community rehabilitation Pam Enderby. FURTHER INFORMATION  www.rehabteams.org
