First CSP lottery winner announced

A physiotherapist who won £2,000 in the inaugural CSP lottery draw hopes to use the money to visit her son in Australia.

Susan Lehain, a therapy team leader at Darlington primary care trust, won top prize in the first draw for the Physio Fortune lottery, where all profits go to fund CSP services and support for members. Ms Lehain, who retrained as a physio in her 40s, said she was delighted to be told that she'd won first prize. 'I never go in for lotteries because I'm just not a lucky person,' she said. 'The last time I won anything was probably at a school fair.' Tickets for Physio Fortune are £1 each, and the more people who take part, the bigger the prize, with a minimum first prize of £2,000 guaranteed each month. There will be occasional super draws worth around £4,000, and all winners will be announced in Frontline. 'I couldn't believe it when I won,' said Ms Lehain. 'It's not everyday you win £2,000.'
