Electronic books for Scottish staff

NHS Education Scotland has improved its offer of e-books available to all NHS Scotland staff.

A new agreement with supplier 123Library.org provides access to a greater range of resources.

The electronic books, which can be downloaded via the internet, are becoming an increasingly useful resource for members, said Andrea Peace, CSP research and development unit head.

‘With the push to deliver more services in the community, and the growing use of mobile technology by physiotherapists, e-books give the potential for rapid access to information to support clinical decision making when working with a patient or client,’ she said.
