This one day course will provide you with the skills and information to make the most clinically appropriate and cost effective use of diagnostic imaging for your patient and improve your image interpretation skills and understanding of the radiology report. MRI, Ultrasound and X-ray imaging are used to provide additional information which may reinforce or change patient management. This course is particularly important for all who are interested in referring patients directly or indirectly for imaging, including First Contact Practitioners.
Included are topics on safe and appropriate referring, imaging management of MSK conditions, normal cross sectional imaging anatomy and pathology, image reporting and acting on the imaging results.
Delivery by MSK Imaging Specialists including Radiographers, the day will feature interactive lectures together with case workshops.
