How to recognise if a person has sensory processing difficulties or sensory differences.

Experiential tasks to understand how sensory processing difficulties may affect people.
Case examples to illustrate what sensory processing problems might look like.
When is a sensory preference a sensory need?
Opportunities to look at commonly used sensory equipment and consider how it might benefit people.
Next steps – how to become a sensory champion

Who Will Benefit?
This course is suitable for therapists who have little or no prior knowledge of sensory processing, doctors, nurses, psychologists, dieticians, speech and language therapists, social workers, and any other health professional.
This course will not equip you to carry out a sensory assessment but will provide a basic understanding and awareness of sensory processing. It is applicable across the life span.
