Find out what resources and benefits you'll have access to when you join the CSP.
The CSP offers a number of resources for physiotherapists and students studying outside of the UK. Here’s a flavour of what you can access when you join the CSP:
- Regular e-bulletins: weekly and quarterly news highlighting the developments impacting the profession – sign up for what you want to hear about
- Latest evidence-based practice: subscribe to receive the Physiotherapy Journal and set up alerts to our Discovery evidence and knowledge search
- Resources for learning and development: build your own ePortfolio and improve your skills and knowledge by exploring our Learning Hub
- A safe, private physio community: join discussions, share knowledge and connect with peers through iCSP – join the network for ‘Overseas Qualified’ physios to share experiences and find a mentor.
To access these tools, the CSP offers several membership options depending on your circumstances.
International affiliate membership is for physiotherapists and physiotherapy students who live, work or study outside of the UK and who have a professional, educational and personal interest in the world of physiotherapy.
As an international affiliate you will have to access a variety of digital tools to support your continued professional development, including evidence based research, journals and magazines, plus an online community of over 60 specialty forums where you can connect and network with your peers in a safe, closed environment.
Associate membership is for all support workers whose job involves some physiotherapy duties, or those in therapy or rehab roles. This includes UK and overseas-qualified physios returning to practice or going through a period of adaptation.
As an associate member we will support you to learn and grow in your career. We provide protection, advice and support (in the workplace and professionally), learning and development tools, as well as opportunities to connect with the wider physio community.
Chartered membership is for any physiotherapist registered with the HCPC, so if you live and/or practise outside the UK, you can still be a chartered member.
As a chartered member we will support you throughout your career as a physio. We provide advice and support, professional development resources, opportunities to connect with the wider physio community, and much more.
